Mama Sessions

May 7, 2018

There is something magical about a mama getting photographed with her kiddos. If your a mom, then you know, that you are often the one behind  the camera capturing the many moments, smiles, laughter and tears of your littles. It’s not often that you get to be photographed capturing those same memories with them. I treasure those moments, weather its a selfie taken with my phone or weather I have hired a photographer to do it for me. Your kiddos will remember those moments with you. They won’t judge you for anything than what you are. You are their beautiful mama, with open arms, smiles and kisses. You are the maker of school lunches and teller of bedtime tales. You are shoulder they cry on, the chaser away of the monsters in the closets. You are the one they confide in when their day is bad, when someone is mean, or when they are scared of the challenging things they hear or see in this world.

So this Mothers Day, treat yourself or the mama in your life to a Mama Session. Just them and the kiddos. Let me capture some of that everyday magic for you. You will never regret those beautiful moments together.

Your so beautiful  mama’s

Hometown Engagement Session

October 14, 2017

Last fall, when my friend Josh, (Childhood friends since birth? Our parents grew up together!), told me he was getting engaged I was thrilled. I was even more thrilled when he asked If I would photograph their engagement photos. I started dreaming of going down to Hunting Beach, the ocean and dreamy Southern California landscapes. I was happily surprised when Josh and Ryan wanted to come back home to Sacramento and take photos here. We happily planned for when they would be here during the holidays. The weather was amazing, and of course the iconic Sacramento scenery can’t be beat.

We had a great time catching up and walking around midtown. Except when out of nowhere Josh and Ryan were subjected to some hateful bigotry. I was appalled. Sacramento tends to be a very welcoming place. They said it happens all the time. I hate that. No one should be treated as less. Even if you don’t believe the same things. I hope for better times when we can all recognize each other as brothers and sisters in this world.

Now, stay tuned for their stunning wedding at the York Manor in L.A. next week!

till next time,

xoxo

Schools Out!

June 8, 2016

This guy just graduated high school a couple weeks ago. Ryan was so much fun to work with! He was up for anything. I asked him if he was secretly a model. He nailed every shot. Ryan is out heading out of state for college in the fall. And… Ryan wants to be a nurse. You know as a RN myself, I couldn’t have been more excited to hear that! Here is to your future Sir! Good luck and if you have any nurse questions… don’t hesitate to call!

Till Next time…

Party of 3

May 4, 2016

Some of life’s biggest surprises are our children. They bring with them all of our hopes and joys for the future. The surprise is sometimes in their arrival, but mostly the surprise is watching them grow and figuring out whom they will become. Welcome to the world little one!

And to you, beautiful mama, this image make my heart ache. It is love…  tangible and real, captured forever through the lens.

Till we meet again

xoxo
